TravelRewards Wallet values your privacy.This privacy policy outlines how your data is handled when you use the app.
1. Data Collection & Storage We do not collect or share any personal data with third parties. The app stores your travel rewards information locally and uses iCloud (via CloudKit) to sync your data across your Apple ID devices. This includes:• Member names and travel reward program details • Points, miles, and expiration dates• Notification preferences and app settings• Custom program names you add
2. Device PermissionsThe app does not access your device's location, camera, or contacts. Optional notifications alert you about upcoming expiration dates and require your permission to function.
3. Push NotificationsReminders are managed locally and do not transmit personal data. Notifications are scheduled based on your expiration dates and notification preferences.
4. CloudKit & SyncingYour data is securely stored in iCloud and accessible across your Apple devices. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest within iCloud.
5. Data Export & ImportThe app allows you to export your data as CSV or JSON files for backup purposes. These files contain your travel rewards information and are not encrypted. Please handle exported files with care if sharing or storing outside this app. You can also import data from previously exported files.
6. Local Data StorageThe app stores some preferences and settings locally on your device using iOS UserDefaults. This includes notification settings, app preferences, and custom program names.
7. Data DeletionYou can delete all your data at any time through the Settings menu. This will permanently remove all data from iCloud and your device, including members, programs, and settings. This action cannot be undone.
8. Third-Party ServicesOnly iCloud is used for data syncing. No analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking libraries are included in the app.
9. Data SecurityYour data is encrypted in iCloud. We recommend using device-level security like screen lock and keeping your Apple ID secure.
10. Children's PrivacyThis app is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
11. Policy UpdatesWe may revise this policy to reflect app updates. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
